Ease of access to component configuration.

Smart Menu Overview

The Smart Menu in Uiflow allows you to have ease of access to the Styles, State, and Actions areas of your component via a floating action bar which can be activated by left clicking the component in either the Preview or Flow panels. In the past, these areas have only been accessible to a user via the Inspector Panel.
With the introduction of the Smart Menu, the goal was to increase the visibility of the features on the component you are currently utilizing, create a more unified flow while you're creating your application, and offer you helpful suggestions on what to configure with those components as well.

As you can see by the two screenshots above, the Smart Menu, currently, is shown above components in both the Preview panel and Flow panel when added.

Composition of the Smart Menu

The Smart Menu includes 3 distinct tabbed sections:

Please Note: Each of the Smart Menu sections, when clicked, will show differing properties in relation to the relative component you are viewing at the time.
  • The first Icon you will see is that of a palette
    this Icon represents the Styles of your component. If you click the icon you will be presented with a list of recommended style properties that can be configured on your component:

  • The second Icon which looks sort of like a cycle with arrows
    represents the State area of your component. If you click the icon you will be presented with a recommended list of State properties that you can configure for your component:

  • The third icon which looks like a target hitting a bullseye
    is the Actions area of your component. If you click the icon you will be presented with a recommended list of Actions properties that you can configure for your component:
